Earlier tonight, while watching the movie Dogma (for the first time), I successfully identified the song playing imperceptibly quietly on the jukebox in the background as the source of the sample for the new MIB3 theme song, having never heard the former song before in my life, and having only heard the latter once. Skillz.
Alison Brie covering Childish Gambino’s “These Girls.” Yeah. It’s that amazing.
Got an early-release music video (off of Bricklayers Unite!) coming down the pipelines! Probably debuting mid-summer! The picture should give you a little hint, but other than that, it’ll be a surprise!
The beauty of art and engineering, merged as one :-)
Everything about the song screams “swag,” and the video just looks like so much fun. And for that, I had to post it, haha!
Of sorts. It’s been one whole month. Lots of engineering, lots of life, all keeping me locked down and busy. On hold from working on new music, but I’ll be able to kick it up into full gear over the summer. New album slated for next school year (my final school year, crazy, I know)… Maybe not fall, but definitely during the ‘12-‘13 era, haha. Two or three music videos, too, but again, nothing set in stone.
As well, just reminding everyone about my super early release track from Bricklayers Unite!, entitled “Go The Distance,” check it out over at my sound cloud.
And with that, back to more regular posting (I hope!), just sharing the other great music I find, and any new musical developments from yours truly, The Music Man.
KENDRICK kills it with this performance of “Hol’ Up”
B.o.B.’s new music video lives up to its name: So Good!
How I plan to go to sleep from now on
